How to Test Your Screen
- Click Monitor Test or Mobile Test to launch.
- Go full screen and inspect the display carefully on each test pattern.
- Click the screen, use the floating controls, or press Space / Arrow Keys to change colors.
- Look for dots that are black, white, or stuck on one color (defective pixels).
Dead vs. Stuck Pixels
Dead Pixel: Remains completely black on all colors (or white on some LCDs). The sub-pixels are permanently off.
Stuck Pixel: Remains permanently lit in a single color (usually Red, Green, or Blue). Can sometimes be fixed.
